What size outlet on valve for faucet/toilet?

I’m finishing off a new bathroom and I am at the point to install the valves on the water supply lines coming out of the wall for the vanity faucet and the toilet.

So, my question is, what size of an output do I need for the valve (that goes from the valve to faucet/toilet), 3/8 or 1/2? The supply line into the valve is 1/2".

I haven’t purchased the faucet yet and it looks like the toilet needs 7/8’s on the toilet end.

I went to HD and the cost of the valves is the same, so whatever is the best/correct solution would be great.

Thanks
I don’t have the supply lines yet, so I have the flexibility to go 3/8 or 1/2 if there is a reason to go bigger. It’s a new bathroom, not a remodel so I have some wiggle room on what I select.
